FASANO FIFTH AVENUE CELEBRATES GREAT ITALIAN CUISINE

The Fasano restaurant opens in the exclusive space of the Four Seasons in New York. This is the first restaurant opened in the “Big Apple” for the Fasano Group, a luxury chain of restaurants and hotels based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld was called in to design the spaces, who kept much of the style of the Four Seasons, bringing back the fawn tones of the main wood-paneled dining room, and covering the carpeted floor; the lighting is softer and more suggestive and to maintain wooden privacy dividers separate some tables.

The food is a beautiful homage to Italy, with the exquisite boiled meat served at the table by a large silver tray. The executive chef, Nicola Fedeli, a Florentine who has been collaborating with the company for several years, adheres to the strict requests of Mr. Fasano regarding the preparation and presentation; extraordinary and tender cutlet in oversized veal, a joy for the eyes and the palate

Chef Nicola Fedeli offers an elegant menu of high dishes from northern Italy including Ossobuco Alla Menighina with Risotto Alla Milanese (Risotto Ossobuco with Saffron), Tortelli di Vitello with Parmigiano Reggiano Fondue (Tortellini di Vitello with Parmigiano Reggiano fondue 48 months)

A bar and lounge, Baretto, will open on the second floor in spring 2022.
