After opening already six different luxury hotels in Milan, London, Bali, Beijing, Shanghai and Dubai, Bulgari will soon open a new location in Rome. “We take this moment to announce the newest Bvlgari Hotels destination, coming to Roma in 2022. A stone’s throw from the Spanish Steps and our original flagship store on Via Condotti, the hotel will stand shoulder to shoulder with the city’s proudest monuments, with Roman heritage reflected in every element of its design,” announced the brand on their Instagram post. The location will be Piazza Augusto Imperatore, in the famous building that surrounds the square, and re-imagined by the architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo.
Bulgari confirms the collaboration with the Italian Architecture Studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, for studying and working on the project, from the placement of the different spaces (including the 114 suites) to the interior design. The hotel will also include the Il Ristorante Niko Romito and the Bvlgari Bar, both placed at the top floor that will offer an amazing view of the city. Then, Bulgari will offer to its guests a wide range of services, including a spa of 1000 square meters, an indoor pool and a high-technology gym. Lastly, the Reading Room, a library that will display a selection of books dedicated to the jewellery world.
An amazing initiative, like the one recently launched by the brand a few days ago: the Bulgari Virus Free Fund. A no-profit organization that will finance the research to help find the cure for different types of virus.
