BEST LOOKS FROM THE OSCAR RED CARPET.

As every year, the Oscar night becomes an opportunity to admire a real fashion show of perfectly dressed stars.

In this 96th edition, sobriety triumphed: many total black looks on the celebrities, alternating with delicate touches of color and some sporadic appearances of archive pieces that are always very appreciated.

Once again, on the night of March 10th the red carpet of the Dolby Theatre, the most coveted in the world of cinema, is transformed into a catwalk, where the stars – before competing for the iconic golden statuette – compete for the attention of photographers with their grand evening outfits.

On the cinematographic front, the films about which great predictions had been made did not disappoint: among Oppenheimer, Poor things, Barbie, American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers and Killers of the Flower Moon is full of prestigious awards and moments of great emotion among actors and authors.

Oppenheimer and his leading actor Cillian Murphy took home 7 awards, but Emma Stone‘s victory as best actress in Poor Thing (a film which also won Best Costume Design, Best Production Design and Best Makeup and Hairstyling) also respected our expectations.

Amid controversy and deserved recognition, a note aside can be made for Barbie, that found a way to make its presence on this Oscar evening unforgettable with two live performances taken from the movie soundtrack: the one of Billie Eilish with What I Was I Made for? and the iconic pop moment of Ryan Gosling performing I’m just Ken to everyone’s enthusiasm.

Now let’s get back to the clothes.

Even in their simplicity, the couture creations of the great fashion brands have been able to enhance the beauty and character of the great Hollywood actors. Emily Blunt in Schiaparelli, Margot Robbie and America Ferrera in Versace, Robert Downey Jr in Saint Laurent, Carey Mulligan in Balenciaga and Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton are just some of the looks worthy of mention that caught our attention during the event and afterwards on social channels.

Discover a small social summary of the best looks below.
