Rumors would certainly give a sneaker resulting from the collaboration between Ralph Lauren & Jordan.

Everything comes from FW 22 at the Museum of Modern Art, where the designer has created a real show-in the show. At his feet are a pair of Air Jordan 14. The model is rare, released in 1998, and now resold on resell platforms at four times the original price. And the presence of this unobtainable pair of shoes on Lauren in such an important show for the brand immediately fueled rumors of a possible collaboration between Ralph Lauren and Jordan.

The black-and-white “Black Toe” silhouette was the first designer shoe to come out under Air Jordan’s wing after Michael Jordan retired from the NBA for the second time in ’98 after a three-year stint with the Chicago Bulls. The high sneaker carried the Air Jordan brand on the outside and under the feet and was inspired by supercars. This is evident in the slender and no-frills silhouette and the details of the super elegant line on the upper of the shoes.
