Worn by generations of women all over the world, celebrities and fashion lovers, the Peekaboo and the Baguette are always the protagonist of every outfit of the day shot. But today we’re talking about her, the Peekaboo bag, launched for the first time during the Spring/Summer 2009 collection. “It’s not easy to create a bag that can become an Icon. You have to be innovative and create a new desired object. A cult bag is born when you create a new model that didn’t exist before but that people needed,” said the Creative Director, Silvia Venturini Fendi.
In the past few years, the Peekaboo Bag was the protagonist of many projects, and today, for the Autumn/Winter 2021 features a new accordion-frame shape, to open in a deep ‘smile’ featuring inside pockets which can be interchangeable in smooth leather or precious skins and personalized with one’s initials. The protagonist of the new campaign is the actress Zoe Deutch. “To me, FENDI means elegance, craftsmanship, and style. I think FENDI makes clothes for women who want to be in charge yet be able to loosen up with a joyful, ironic attitude… And that’s exactly the kinda gal I am,” shared Deutch about what the brand means to her.
