Gucci has announced the reopening of the Naples store with a new location. The shop is located in the center, in Via dei Mille 3, and extends for a thousand square meters. The spaces are dedicated to all the facets of the world of Alessandro Michele’s brand. From women’s and men’s collections to jewelry and leather goods, to fragrances and even the Gucci Dècor furniture line. In line with the measures to combat the pandemic in force in Campania (currently in the red zone), Naples’ Gucci store is not accessible to the public. Still, it is possible to virtually explore and continue to purchase the new collections by living the Gucci experience from home. by video call or by phone.
Ground floor, green satin walls and ivory-colored boiserie contrast with polychrome marble floors, which form geometric designs. However, on the first floor, walls with mauve satin and gray velvet upholstery distinguish the areas dedicated respectively to the women’s and men’s collections. A distinctive element of the furnishings is a series of velvet armchairs placed side by side with items from the Gucci Décor collection, combined with early 1900s tables and terracotta plant pots, a reference to the Neapolitan eighteenth century, known as “Testone”. On the floor, vintage rugs are superimposed on each other to create an uneven effect.
