The importance of brand logos is often underrated. Yet, a logo is the magnet par excellence for all those cultural and aesthetic overlaps that are created around it. Pierpaolo Piccioli knows this quality of the logo well, and celebrates it through a collaboration that combines sixteen international magazines, under the sign of VLogo, the famous Valentino logo. The result is a diverse and dynamic artbook, in which the Valentino logo and its symbolic significance are the indisputable protagonists.
A project in the form of a book, entitled Valentino Garavani VLogo Signature Uncensored Project, which tells, through new aesthetics and alternative visions, the collective imagination linked to the iconic Valentino logo: its use in the past and its potentiality for the future.
From 10 to 15 November in Rome at the newsstands of San Lorenzo in Lucina and Madonna dei Monti, there will be a special setting. And similarly, in Milan from 13 to 15 November at the newsstand in Corso Genova.
The book will be on sale from mid-November in selected stores around the world, including Tokyo, New York, London, Milan and Rome, as well as in some Valentino boutiques and available online on ideabooks.nl.
