Some iconic vintage pieces by Valentino will be re-sold on Farfetch thanks to a collaboration with A.N.G.E.L.O. Vintage. Angelo Caroli, the founder of the famous Ravenna based vintage shop, worked on the collection for two years, hunting for the best pieces all over the internet and in real life, from fashion auctions to private sellers that preserved these vintage treasures for years. A collection made out of 22 dresses that goes from the 70s, with the collection designed by Valentino Garavani, until today with the most recent collections under the creative direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli. Made out of the most exclusive materials, delicate designs and luxurious embroideries, each one of these dresses, exclusively sold online on Farfetch, holds a story behind and is a testimony of the excellence that always characterized the Maison Valentino.

Some of the clients of the brand remember still to this day, that in the 70s, there was direct contact with the designer and with the tailors, always available when they needed to commission a dress for a special occasion. Nights gowns that most of the time are worn one night only and then preserved inside the wardrobe for more than 30 years, to forever remember that moment. One of the most iconic pieces from the collection, there is a beautiful dress in red lace, from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection, as well as some gowns from the 70s with drapes and delicate floral embroideries.

The curated selection of A.N.G.E.L.O Vintage includes not only the 22 vintage dresses but also bags, sunglasses, jewellery and some ready-to-wear pieces all by Valentino.
