Tommy Hilfiger collaborates with Noonoouri for a special digital project set in Milan. The protagonist of the project is the Tommy Hilfiger Icons Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Noonoouri is a tourist who moves around in symbolic areas of the City of Milan: Piazza del Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Stazione Milano Centrale, expressing the need of the community to reappropriate of those places and to live freely after weeks of lock-down. To best represent the need for freedom, the creation of the images has been inspired by studies of movement developed by Richard Muybridge. The delicacy characteristic of the poses of Noonoouri transmits the concept poetically and respectfully. Her gaze expresses an optimistic view of the future. The nautical inspiration for the collection highlights the idea of freedom of movement at the foundation of the project. Stripes, prints and the Marinière motifs guide our imagination towards an adventure in the open sea.
Tommy Hilfiger and Noonoouri are united by the values of inclusivity, responsibility, sustainability and friendship. Tommy Hilfiger has been one of the first brands to collaborate with digital characters as Noonoouri, showing, from the start, open-mindedness towards new ways of communication. The other Spring/Summer Collection Tommy Hilfiger x Looney Tunes can be found online and in boutiques, meant for the young generation and the most nostalgic grown-ups of the classic Cartoons.
