On one side the Japanese master of the avant-garde style on the other side the most popular skateboard brand in the world. Two opposite poles and an unexpected collaboration but that we can already tell it’s going to be a huge success. Another collaboration that connects streetwear and high fashion, that demonstrates that they can co-exist together.
Yohji Yamamoto and Supreme present a collection that translates Yohji’s symbology in streetwear’s language: from floral graphics, embroidered roses, graffiti, relaxed sartorial suits and soft sweaters. The artworks of the collection are made by Sancheeto, Peter Saville and Yuuka Asakura, that includes parka, puffer and leather jackets, suits, hoodies, t-shirts and beanies.
The collection will be released on September 17th at the Supreme store and online at 12:00.
