Despite the common thought that the golden era of Supreme has passed yet, the street kingdom of Tremaine Emory continues to demonstrate its appeal, and it does so especially throughout interesting collabs. So far, this season’s collaborative results have not been all that disappointing. Good examples of this were a handful of pieces in collaboration with Umbro, the Tamagotchi, and a line-up from The North Face that remained online for a significant period.
After the further release of the long-awaited UNDERCOVER collaboration, which offered us a capsule collection full of archival references, Supreme announces a new partnership.
The New York brand currently led by Tremaine as creative director has in fact communicated through its official channels that the seventh drop for the spring/summer 2023 collections will be the one born from the last partnership with Dr. Martens.
Known for being an integral part of the history of UK subcultures, Dr. Martens has converted its aesthetic into a global trend as well as promptly keeping its foot on the gas with his collaborative results. The partnership with Supreme for its SS23 confirms this.
This time the New York streetwear label worked with the English footwear brand on a new version of the Penton Tassel Loafer.

Made exclusively for Supreme, the Dr. Martens loafer is available in three colourways: black, bright blue and cow pattern print. The shoes are reimagined with both hair-on-hide and smooth leather uppers. Detailing comes in the form of the paneled design, stitching, and “SUPREME” engraved logo metal tassel rings. Finishing up the design of the shoe are AirWair® cushion soles with printed insoles and thick lug sole units rendered in black.
