For the second consecutive year, PUMA has been named Top Employer Europe. An award awarded every year by the Top Employers Institute, an independent institute that evaluates the quality of work conditions through many variables. S ranges from diversity to corporate infrastructure. A research that aims to put people first.
PUMA has seen its offices in Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain awarded with the certificate of Top Employers 2021. It is the only European company in the sporting goods sector to receive the award. PUMA South Africa received the Top Employer Award for the first time this year. The latter is a merit that is assessed based on a survey that includes six areas: People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being, and Diversity & Inclusion.
The German brand was awarded for flexible hours and mobile working. Two fundamental concepts nowadays given the contingent needs of the pandemic and the consequent social distancing. The company also supports employees outside the workplace. It provides employees with financial and retirement planning, childcare, and provides extensive development and learning programs.
“Due to the pandemic, 2020 has been a busy year for all of us. It is a great satisfaction that our strategy of putting our employees first has once again been recognized.” This is the comment by Dietmar Knoess, PUMA’s Global Director of People and Organization.
