Nike release Jordan Brand a capsule collection to celebrate the upcoming League of Legends World Cup (developed by Riot Games), starting on September 25th in Shanghai. Last year, it was Louis Vuitton who dressed the characters of the e-sports game, releasing even a trunk to hold the trophies, collection that was later released in real life.
The Nike x Air Jordan collection includes apparel and shoes, including the new Air Jordan 1 High Zoom characterized by an iridescent purple material and an intricated swoosh on the side. Among the other sneakers, there are the Air Max 90 and Blazer Mid ‘77 Vintage, Air Force 1 Low and High, Air Max 270 React, Joyride Dual Run 2 and an Air Max 2X all featuring a pixelated swoosh and the “HaveaGoodGame“ font. While for the apparel there is a wide range of hoodies, t-shirts, long sleeves and the uniforms of the four teams of League of Legends: Top Esports, JD Gaming, Suning and the LGD.
We still don’t have an official release date for the capsule collection dedicated to the League of Legends World Cup, but it will be probably in contemporary with the start of the event.
