In a few days will be presented the new edition of Milano Moda Uomo, in which emerging brands, supported by CNMI, and well-known brands will display male collections of spring-summer 2020. This year’s main innovation is that some of these brands, such as Philip Plein, Marcelo Burlon and Dsquared2, will present co-ed collections (together male and female) taking advantage of a fluider fashion, free from gender conventions.
The event, which will take place in Italy’s notorious fashion capital, will begin on Friday 14th of june, and will end on Monday 17th.
Before the starting of this summer fashion week, let’s take a look at the calendar including not only fashion runways, but also exclusive events and cultural exhibitions related to fashion.
On the first day Milano Moda Graduate (4 pm) and Ermenegildo Zegna (8.30 pm) will launch the first runways. On the next day will be the turn of M1992, Emporio Armani, Magliano, Marni, Neil Barrett, Numero 00, Versace, Marcelo Burlon County of Milan and Philipp Plein. On Sunday 12th Bed J.W. Ford, Les Hommes, Etro, Sunnei, Youser, United Standard, Palm Angels and Dsquared2. Finally on Monday 17th Fendi, Pal Zileri, Edithmarcel, Miguel Vieira, Spyder, David Catalàn and Giorgio Armani, who offered himself as the conclusion of the week to make sure that the focus on the event would be preserved untill the end.
Furthermore many brands, such as Gucci, Prada, Blumarine and Stella McCartney, will display their collection through evening events, performances, partys and expositions.
At the conclusion of Milano Moda Uomo there will be the Closing Event of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
Moreover videos, fotos and streaming of the runways will be available on the website, App, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram of CNMD (Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana) in order to allow those who won’t be able to be there to follow the event and stay updated.
