Here’s the ingredients for one of the most unforgettable nights during this year’s Milan Fashion Week: the party thrown by Vogue Italia to officially celebrate the new course of the magazine, now directed by Emanuele Farneti, next to Riccardo Tisci as creative director. Tisci himself launched the topic for September’s piece: italianness.
As a matter of fact, while the mag has always had an international style, right now the aim is to rivendicate its Italian roots and the huge change that our country and its Fashion industry are going through. Farneti had announced: «I’d like to throw an addictive party that brings people together».
He definitely made it. Everybody was there. Four thousands of guests, like models, celebrities, fashion designers and, of course, the most important people in the Italian and international fashion system. Other than the star system, I noticed a vast and young public, that gave some color and freshness to the atmosphere.
Among the most beautiful ones, I’d like to mention Miriam Leone, wearing a long red evening gown in velvet, Olivia Palermo, with a total black blazer-and-pants look, Tuna Kunakey wearing black velvet, Bianca Brandoli D’Adda wearing a leopard printed dress, Alanna Arrington in white lace, and finally Shanina Shaik and her flowery transparencies. The most famous and glamorous top models of the world, like Gigi and Bella Hadid, appeared like meteors, locked in their business cars and surrounded by bodyguards.
And then Maria Carla Boscono, Kaia Gerber, Martha Hunt, Elsa Hosk, Karolina Kurkova, Anna Cleveland. The actress Isabella Ferrari, beautiful and sexy as always. Among male guests, I’d like to mention Lorenzo Serafini and one the moment’s coolest designers, Jeremy Scott from Moschino. Great as always, Michelle Hunziker. Personally, I reached the peak of joy when I noticed in the public my favorite model, the incredible Victoria’s Secret’s angel Izabel Goulart. Other and being beautiful, she’s very friendly, as she proved kindly letting photographers and admirers take pictures and say hello more than any other guest.
