Among the numerous projects that would envolved the famous creative director of one of the most iconic french fashion maison, there would be also a collaboration with L’Oréal Paris. Luckily, this initiative has not been put aside, despite the recent designer’s death.
The brand Karl Lagerfeld and the french cosmetics giant had officialized the launch of the collection, scheduled for the 27th of September in occasion of the Paris Fashion Week.
The Head of Image and Comunication, Caroline Lebar said about it: “this line of make-up truly reflects the karl Lagerfeld brand universe and what karl loved in make-up – he often used eyeshadows as colours in his sketches.
L’Oréal Paris has an inclusive message of beauty for all. Karl liked it when a collaboration resonated with his brand and would make a real impact to many people”. After all, the brillant designer founded his homonym brand with a democratic perspective on fashion and he has always worked in a close contact with Beauty world, that is an essential element in Chanel’s industry.
By now, all we know about the new beauty collab Karl Lagerfeld x L’Oréal Paris is that it will reflect the notable Lagerfeld’s Rock-chic style, not only by the design and the packaging of products, but also with a “tribute” AD Campaign, with quotes and codes that made the designer iconic.
Parisian allure and modern and exclusive color shades will be important aspects of this make up line, inspired by the power and the independent expression of women.
For all the other details about price and product we will have to wait untill September, when the collection will be shown off on the city which better represents its essence: Paris.
