For spring summer 2020 Lacoste invited the artists FriendsWithYou, Jeremyville and Jean-Michel Tixier to reinterpret the brand’s legendary logo (the crocodile) according to its aesthetic vision and tell it through an unprecedented capsule collection. A creative challenge that gave birth to three different collections, united by the creative research on the mythical crocodile and the positive and colorful mood that distinguishes the work of the characters involved.
Lacoste transforms itself from pret-a-porter garments to accessories, with a new carefree and original style.

Lacoste X Jean Michel Tixier
French illustrator Jean-Michel Tixier imagines a crocodile that becomes human in the form of a stylish hipster, father of Parisian high society, trader always in a hurry, Parisian dandy or teen fan of sportswear. An affectionate look from Lacoste fans from any background.

Lacoste X FriendsWithYou
FriendsWithYou is the collaborative creative project of the artists Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III. For Lacoste, they send the crocodile into orbit in a colorful and dreamlike world, animated by characters characterized by a minimal and deceptively naive design, who see Lacoste’s sporting roots dressing in an unexpected kawaii style.

Lacoste X Jeremyville
Jeremyville (artist based between New York and Sydney) brings a style steeped in comic book culture to the world that has its roots in street art. For Lacoste, the artist has created an artistic and lush jungle where tennis and crocodiles form a unique thing.

The new collection, which includes polo shirts, sweatshirts and T-shirts, together with hats, sneakers and scarves, is already available online.
