Missoni has announced that Filippo Grazioli will take over from Alberto Caliri as Creative Director of the Grazioli brand will be in charge of the men’s and women’s lines, also overseeing the lifestyle sector, and will be joined by Caliri who will now take care of Missoni Home and Missoni Sport.

Grazioli has already worked with Martin Margiela on the Maison’s women’s clothing line and was a senior designer at Hermès before working alongside Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy and Burberry, respectively.

In a post on Instagram, Livio Proli, CEO of Missoni, said: “In agreement with the Family Fund and FSI, we have elected Filippo Grazioli, a young designer who can – however – count on 18 years of solid experience in prestigious fashion companies, to raise the profile and image of Missoni in the luxury market and further strengthen the modernization process already started. He takes the place of Alberto Caliri, a long-time member of the company and successful designer of the last two collections. Alberto Caliri will head the Home Collection under the creative supervision of Rosita Missoni. Thanks to these two new appointments, the company strengthens its foundations for the future. We wish Alberto Caliri and Filippo Grazioli every success in the future.”

The first collection of the new Creative Director will be the men’s and women’s pre-collection in May, while his first catwalk will be for Spring/Summer 2023, premiering at Milan Fashion Week.
