Disney + in addition to the classic Disney cartoons and films, offers us a short film in memory of old cartoons. Maggie Simpson in Playdate with Destiny, an animated short film from the saga of The Simpsons, and it is the very first original product after the agreement signed in 2017 between The Walt Disney Company and 20th Century Fox. To announce it was nothing less than the creator of the now legendary series: Matt Groening, who shared a special handwritten note on social media.

It lasts just over 5 minutes and it is almost a return to silent cinema, marked by the accompanying music and the pacifier verse, in full Maggie Simpson style. The short joins the Disney + library, along with all the first 30 seasons of The Simpsons and the 2007 film The Simpson Movie.
Disney’s new streaming service has surpassed 50 million subscribers worldwide.
