And so Burberry also has some news to announce regarding its new global ambassador, Barry Keoghan.
The strong affinity between the British brand and the young actor from Saltburn had already been made known with his participation in the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2024 fashion show between SS24 and last year’s Met Gala. The appointment as the brand’s new global ambassador therefore seems a natural progression of his long-lasting relationship with Burberry.
The partnership between Keoghan and Burberry has continued in recent years, under the guidance of creative director Daniel Lee who states: “I’ve known Barry for over 5 years now and have watched him grow into one of his generation’s most talented actors. His raw, unique talent is incredibly inspiring and perfectly reflects the spirit of our brand. I am proud to welcome him to the Burberry family.”
The actor is considered a real rising star given his growing success in recent times and numerous global awards thanks to his roles in The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Banshees of Inisherin and, of course: Saltburn.
His involvement in the world of fashion is therefore not surprising, as the actor’s unusual and modern charm finds a perfect harmony with Burberry’s desire to spread an elegance in step with the times.
the ethics of innovation and diversity of the brand proposed by Daniel Lee will in fact be the basis of this collaboration which will combine the traditional British elegance of Burberry and the dynamic and fresh appeal of Keoghan.
And if Lee’s intent is to give the brand’s prestigious heritage a more contemporary narrative, Barry Keoghan, with his impressive filmography and distinct style, is definitely the right choice.
