Alberta Ferretti brings to the runway of the Milan Fashion Week her SS21 collection dedicated to a natural femininity, between romanticism and seduction. “In this difficult situation, so harsh and unforgiving in many ways, my gut instinct was to embrace kindness and a certain seductive softness. I believe that it stems from self-confidence and from the acceptance of the natural power of femininity,” says the designer. “Romanticism is a manifestation of strength, not of weakness.”
The daywear is characterized by tinted denim, faded, re-tinted and straight and comfortable, paired with shirts and blouses. The key element is the lingerie. Corsets and bras are showed off and paired with high waisted trousers and mini skirts. To these elements are alternated light and elaborated dresses with lace embroideries: the mini dresses in chiffon and the long ones with tie-dye effect. This collection highlights the shoulders and the bust throughout the silhouette of the blazers, while the balloon sleeves paired with shorts and trousers.
The day and night outfits are paired with silk strings sandals with pearl details and wide bags, as well as crochet bucket bags.
