After the success of the ZX 8000, Adidas and LEGO are back to collaborate for two new versions of the iconic Superstars. Unlike what happened previously, the collaboration gave birth to a double product: One suitable for sneaker fans and one for those of colored bricks. The first consists of an updated version of the iconic adidas Superstar. The second is a real LEGO set that will give life to the same sneaker if assembled.
The shoe, the one that you can wear, boasts the classic upper part in white leather, but for the three stripes, the heel and the shell toe have been used plastic materials clearly inspired by the bricks. The shoe thus takes on a more angular appearance, also highlighted by the side zigzag seams.

The Superstar 10282 instead represents every collector’s dream, giving the possibility to build a LEGO sneaker directly in the living room. All the classic features of the Superstars are enclosed in 17 bricks. Furthermore, there will be the possibility to choose which sneaker to build, the right or the left.

“As a child born in the 1980s and raised in the 1990s, Superstars have always been an icon, even when I got my first pair,” said LEGO Senior Designer Florian Müller. “I was thrilled to be able to work on this model. The shoe represents a very organic object, made of flexible materials that look different for each person. It was a great challenge to bring all of this into LEGO System in Play, which by nature is square and angular. “
The Adidas x LEGO Superstar will be available from July 1st online and in the brand’s stores, while the Superstars 10282 will arrive on the same day in the LEGO stores.
