Already back in the spotlight for the official start of her majestic Renaissance World Tour, Beyoncé has shown that she has not run out of surprises for her fans.
Just days after Mother’s Day, the superstar shared an Instagram post honoring the “female entrepreneurs” young Bey met on her way. First of all the mother Tina Knowles, owner of a salon where Beyoncé grew up helping her by sweeping hair.
And it was the publication of this post made up of a carousel of images that triggered the suspicion of a possible launch of hair products.

In the first shot we see the singer, without make-up, sitting in front of a mirror curling a strand of her wild hair with an iron, surrounded by a series of small label-less cosmetic bottles but already so very allusive. The second photo portrays Beyoncé as a little girl who had her hair styled, followed by a third image that revealed the most important message: “How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy,” she explains. “I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
The announcement, which now seems to be considered official, comes shortly after the start of the singer’s highly anticipated tour, which has already garnered enthusiastic reactions on all fronts: from her splendid voice to her otherworldly and unparalleled look, worthy of a superstar.
While the news seems to have come out of nowhere, it’s not exactly Beyoncé’s very first venture into the beauty world, having previously released her coveted namesake fragrance, Heat in 2010, and having served as a brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris in 2008.
For many, the idea of a celebrity like Beyoncé starting her own hair care line makes perfect sense. The record-breaking Grammy singer has always been praised for her hair, thanks in part to her accomplished longtime hairstylists Neal Farinah and Kim Kimble and her mother Tina Knowles-Lawson.
And so all of a sudden, a Beyoncé Hair Care Line could be one of the most anticipated upcoming releases in the beauty world.
