The Maison Dior presents the Vespa 946 Christian Dior, a revisitation of the iconic motorcycle by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the Creative Director of the French brand to celebrate the Dolce Vita. Founded in the same year, 1946, Dior and Vespa shares today more than ever the desire for freedom and express it with an exclusive collaboration. The design features a unique graphic characterized by a white milk shade and details in yellow gold metal, that makes the scooter even more chic.
A big Christian Dior logo is featured on the rear fender inside a horizontal stripes motif that crosses the unmistakable curves of the scooter. The famous Dior Oblique motif, that usually distinguishes the clothes and accessories of the brand, decorate the bottom part of the seat and the travel accessories: the helmet with satin gold details and logo written with block letters, and a rectangular trunk with leather details. The initials “CD” is printed on the hook under the seat, while the classic Vespa logo is positioned on the front of the wheels in gold.
The Vespa 946 Christian Dior will be available in Spring 2021 as a limited edition in every Dior boutique all over the world, and then in a selection of Motoplex store of the Piaggio1 group. To celebrate the collaboration, Dior produced a fashion film titled Dioriviera inspired by the famous scene of Roman’s Holiday with Audrey Hepburn.
