Valentino presents the new Resort 2021 collection, that has an essential and austere aesthetic. The outfits designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli have geometrical shapes that adapt naturally to the body, with fluid and harmonious proportions. Then the texture of the materials is transformed with the pictures. Light blue silk dipped in the water while a denim tunic is lightened by the wind. The accessories are solid and tactile, flowers, bows and studs are embroidered on the Atelier bag and the Atelier shoes. The hats are made in collaboration with Borsalino inspired by Italian holidays.
The protagonist of the collection is the muse of the Creative Director, Mariacarla Boscono captured in a rural scenery among plants and stones walls, in an intimate conversation with the camera.
