We want to talk to you about a girl and her dream. It’s called NikkieTutorials, pseudonym of Nikkie de Jager. She is a Dutch make-up artist and youtuber who gained popularity in 2015, publishing the video The Power of Makeup on the YouTube platform, which not only went viral in no time but made her conquer 13 million subscribers to her channel, confirming her as one of the most popular icons of the international beauty community.
Nikkie’s goal has always been one: to convince all those “little Nikkies” around the world who feel insecure, frightened and out of place, to never give up, and to seek their own way without fear.
Recently the makeup artist (January 13, 2020) NikkieTutorials has published a video on YouTube, entitled I’m Coming Out, where she came out declaring herself a transgender woman. But it didn’t matter much to her fans because her statement did not change the way her followers perceive it: “I have never talked about it before because I preferred that the real focus on which my followers should focus was my art and my immense love for make up, “she released.
