The biggest Rolex vintage collection in the world is collected in a book that celebrates the 25th anniversary of The Vintage Watch Company. The famous London store, owned by father and son, John and David Silver, that sells a collection of more than 2000 Rolex products collected throughout the years, from 1910 to 1990. The store also has a wide clientele of celebrities, from sports stars to actress and actors. Vintage Rolex, edited by Pavilion and Rizzoli, collects more than 1800 watches, photographed and described in details. Watches that are part of the brand’s history, from the first pocket watches to the Submariner and Daytona, as well as the Crown Collection.
The collection featured in the book tracks the rise of the iconic brand and the store that was such a big part of Rolex’s history for the last 25 years. The book is also full of anecdotes narrated by David Silver, like the story of the first two people that explored Mount Everest, or how James Bond contributed to the brand’s popularity.
