There are those who do not want to give up their boots even in spring or summer. The French fashion house Maison Margiela has decided to satisfy us by renewing for the S/S 2020 season the iconic ankle boots, the Tabi.
The first Tabi ankle boots debuted on the catwalk with the spring summer 1989 collection, on the occasion of the very first fashion show. The unmistakable Tabi design, inspired by the tip of traditional Japanese socks, from which it takes its name, has since been considered one of the greatest classics of Maison Margiela. A continuous evolution, perfectly in line with the brand’s avant-garde and rebellious spirit, which continues today with a new proposal.
Maison Margiela, in fact, has just unveiled the new Tabi, characterized by a thinner line and an innovative banana heel to make the silhouette more elegant, without forgetting the typical white stitching on the back. Available in ankle boot version, with the classic closure composed of hook buttons hidden by the flap, and in a décolleté version. The new Tabi can already be purchased on the website www.maisonmargiela.com.
