The song was already previewed on the special episode of “Amici Speciali” on May 16th. Irama already has 12 platinum and 6 gold records, after two amazing years thanks to the success of the albums “Plume”, “Giovani” and the singles “Nera”, “La Ragazza Con Il Cuore Di Latta” e “Arrogante”, and an amazing sold-out tour in 2019, Irama release a new song that we can already tell it’s going to be a summer hit.
“Mediterranea” follows the summer storyline of Irama, with a tropical sound inspired by Latin music. With this song, once again, demonstrates that he is an eclectic artist, able to navigate different genres and will make everyone dance once again this summer. Irama started to write songs when he was 7 years old and grow up listening to Italian artists such as Fabrizio De André and Francesco Guccini. The success arrived thanks to the talent show “Amici”, and he already participated in the last two editions of the Coca Cola Summer Festival, and was one of the finalists of the Festival di Sanremo in the New Artist category.
