Previewed during Milan Fashion Week in February, the MM6 Maison Margiela and Dr. Martens footwear collection is finally available.
The models from the collaboration made their debut on the MM6 Maison Margiela autumn winter 2024 catwalk but the two brands made us wait several months for the official release.
The collaboration between the Parisian house and the British bootmaker par excellence immediately promised to be a winning and super interesting combination.
The MM6 Maison Margiela x Dr. Martens collection focuses on two types of footwear which, in a certain sense, are worth four!
The reason? A refined game of hybridizations that translates into two-for-one designs, combining two existing models in a single shoe.

So the MM6 Maison Margiela x Dr. Martens collaboration includes a boot model (available in two colours) and a loafer.
The uniqueness of these shoes derives precisely from the union of some of the most iconic styles of Dr. Martens, with the deconstructive aesthetics of Margiela.
By fusing the classic 1460 boot with the 1461 derby shoe, the two brands have created a boot with a two-in-one silhouette enhanced by the two special colourways: one completely black and the other which sees the red tone in contrast with the classic black.
The other shoe in the collaboration is born from the fusion of the classic three-eyelet Oxford shoe with the traditional moccasin. The typical Dr. Martens yellow stitching that finishes the thick soles cannot be missing, giving its unmistakable look.
Obviously the shoes entirely use Dr. Martens’ premium leather construction and are all co-branded with the MM6 numeric branding and the signature Dr. Martens loop applied to the heel.
The MM6 x Dr. Martens boots and loafers are now available at select retailers and MM6 Maison Margiela and Dr. Martens stores.
