Electric blue, gold and silver, burgundy, but also pink, turquoise and orange, geometric and vaguely optical patterns: 2019/20 fall-winter collection by Emilio Pucci is colourful and fluttering. Already projected into spring. The set for the show was the wonderful 18th century Palace that hosts the Maison’s headquarter in Milan and that in this occasion was turned into a contemporary art set full of metallic platforms.

The collection draws its inspiration from the East: this was highlighted by the installation of a beautiful Japanese garden and by the evening wear, enriched with patterns selected and masterfully created in order to recall the atmosphere of Oriental gardens.

The collection is sensual, fluid and full of passion. The new Marylin dress in printed woolen jersey seems to wrap the body in a soft scarf. Skirts and pleated scarves follow the lines of the feminine body like veils, despite the cold season.

A chemisier dress in latex completely acquires a new personality thanks to very wide ton sur ton kimono sleeves.

All the outfit are completed by statement accessories: boots and leather décolleté have metallic round points; the round bag is a must-have, bucket bags are embellished with monocolour fringes revealing prints. Oversize mono-earrings and monocolour gloves make it all perfect.
