In the frantic race in search of Christmas gifts, an unexpected idea comes up: the new clothing line of the fast-food world giant, McDonald’s.
McDonald’s fashion collection focuses on the colors of the yellow and red brand, and includes streetwear with pop aesthetics such as hooded sweatshirts in mélange gray, t-shirts with the Happy Meal smile and socks with fries. Accessories such as canvas shopper bags, pins, hair clips, notebooks, as well as beverage containers could not be missing. Given the Christmas launch period, there is also a collection dedicated to Christmas with themed Christmas gifts such as the jacquard sweater with the M logo and the colored balls to decorate the tree. In the series also the pom-poms hat and a t-shirt + pants kit for relaxing moments, which are already sold-out.

But the fast-food giant is not the first time that it is a protagonist in the fashion industry. Let’s remember 2014 when Moschino‘s designer, Jeremy Scott, had designed a series of models inspired by the very popular McDonald‘s graphics for the Moschino F / W 2014/2015 collection. More recently Demna Gvasalia, the Georgian designer of the French brand Vetements, has had the spring / summer 2020 men’s collection paraded in a real McDonald’s fast food restaurant in Paris. A provocative parade to raise public awareness on consumerism.

The collection will be on sale throughout the year on the McDonald’s Golden Arches Unlimited website, and the prices of garments in line with McDonald’s cheap philosophy range from 10 to 65 dollars.
