Kanye West will no longer be part of Coachella, who is finally back this year.
Initially, the rapper was supposed to perform during the closing night of the music festival, which will be held from April 15 to 17 and from April 22 to 24. Travis Scott was also expected to join him on stage, but even this news seems out of the question now, after the events of the Astroworld Festival.
Kanye West has not yet clarified the reasons for the denial. The rapper, nominated for a Grammy in five categories with Donda, also named among the best records of the year, suffered the cancellation of his performance on the awards night held last April 4 in Las Vegas. But if, in that case, the request came directly from the organizers, the non-participation in Coachella could be a decision taken by the same artist who a few days ago had occupied the pages of online newspapers with an alleged declaration of wanting to disappear for some time – statement, never officialized.
