JACQUEMUS DYES THE NIKE JF1 ORANGE. THE COLLAB IS ALREADY SOLD OUT.

Jacquemus and Nike really seem to “go hand in hand”, a bit like bread and jam.

The two brands have just launched a new version of the J Force 1 silhouette.

The sneaker, on which Nike and Jacquemus had already based a previous collaboration, surprisingly comes out with a new color. For this latest autumn version, designer Simon Porte decided to pay homage to one of the most common fruits of the south of France: the orange, of course.

Like Jacquemus’ Air Humara, the Nike JF1 also looks much more eye-catching in this alternate colorway, arriving just in time for the Halloween season. The orange version arrives with a mesh midsection and toe. It’s also the only edition with gold-tone hardware and contrasting laces.

The original black and white versions of the shoe previously proposed by the two brands had already aroused considerable enthusiasm, but the orange version definitely gives to the essential design of the shoe an ironic and stylish character, in pleasant contrast with the white laces that intertwine across the sole of the sneaker.

The collection was teased on Instagram with a series of citrus-colored campaign images and a caption that read “NIKE + JACQUEMUS NEW DROP” (along with an orange emoji).

In addition to the new JF1 sneaker, the new collection included a series of items always in shades of orange and brown, including a long-sleeved t-shirt, a cropped top and logo socks.

The orange Nike JF1, complemented by the rest of the merch, launched on October 26th and can be purchased exclusively from Jacquemus’ website for $170.

Needless to say, the collection practically sold out shortly after it was announced.

But given the happy continuity with which the two brands usually announce surprise drops, there will be an opportunity to purchase some iconic pieces from their upcoming collaborative projects.
