Jacquemus continues with his digital campaign that captures the muses of the brand. Simon Porte Jacquemus, the Creative Director, always cast the it-girls of the moment for his campaigns and fashion shows. But after the FaceTime shots of the top model Bella Hadid and of the singer Rosalià, for the launch of the Spring/Summer 2020 collection, Jacquemus chose someone very close to his heartLiline, his grandmother, posed for a series of shots that designer shared on his Instagram. The portraits of grandma Liline were made by Simon himself, from a safe distance of course, and she perfectly embodies the chic and timeless French style that became the signature of the brand.

 

The choice of using his grandma as a testimonial feels very personal (one of the most special story for me writes Simon in the Instagram caption) and gives an endearing and fresh touch to the looks of the collection. From a bright pink suit to a white top, and a maxi dress, paired with accessories such as big coloured lens sunglasses, platform sandals and pendants earrings.

The casting revealed two things, that age doesn’t matter and where Simon Jacquemus hereditary his impeccable style.
