The long-awaited and prestigious Fashion Awards 2024 will be held on 2 December in London, at the Royal Albert Hall.
Miuccia Prada, Jonathan Anderson, John Galliano, Kim Jones and Dilara Findikoglu are among the leading names that appear in the list of nominees.
Most of the candidates this past year have stood out not only for their talent but also for having been able to generate great moments of media success.
Think of John Galliano’s work at Maison Margiela, in particular his 2024 Artisanal Collection, destined to mark the archives of the house and the history of fashion. Chemena Kamali was nominated for her work at Chloé, where she has held the role of creative director for less than a year. Loewe and Miu Miu continue to conquer social media with captivating and viral content and their respective directors Jonathan Anderson and Miuccia Prada are both coming off an excellent year.
In addition to the Designer of the year award, this year’s categories include Model of the year, British Menswear Designer of the Year, British Womenswear Designer of the Year, BFC Foundation Award, and Leader of Change.
Alex Consani, Anok Yai and Amelia Gray are among the candidates for the second most important award, Models of the years, an award that is awarded based on the global impact of a model who, in the last 12 months, has dominated the scene.
There are even more categories to be announced in November, including Special Recognition Awards, Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, Outstanding Achievement Award, Fashion Icon and NEW WAVE: Creatives.
