From today is available exclusively for the luxury department store Harrods the Fendi x Chaos capsule collection. A micro collection of hi-tech jewels and accessories that you can wear every day, imagined, designed and created by Fendi, together with Charlotte Stockdale and Katie Lyall, the creative duo of behind Chaos. The inspiration? The 1920s and the exasperation of luxury of those years. Presented for the first time during the Fendi Fall/Winter 2020-21 fashion show, the Fendi X Chaos capsule is an ode to the tradition and contemporary, to the irony of everyday life, to metropolitan luxury, to analogue that makes fun of digital and the other way around.
A mix of shining gold, mauve-pink and pastel yellow, the collection features precious cases for lighters, gold perimeters that act as cigarette cases, Fendi mini clutches that look like smartphones, smartwatches and wireless earphones, as well as multifunctional, scrabble pen in gold and silver that can be used on tablets, paper and as an earring. Fendi’s craftsmanship meets the visionary perspectives of Chaos with the motto “fast, global, non-conformist”.
But there’s more, like a set of four-piece metal glasses (for the health freak or tequila-loving party girl) and a shearling-coated laptop sleeve. An ironic and very fashionable capsule, and an excellent inspiration for Christmas gifts.
