Fendi is loved for their innovative and unique collections, and above all for their Icon bags. The Peekaboo and The Baguette have been worn by generations of women, showed off by celebrities and fashion enthusiasts, and are always the protagonists of the photoshoots. Each bag already had their project dedicated to them, #BaguetteFriendsForever e #MeAndMyPeekaboo, but today the Maison wants to celebrate them with a new fashion film, “Icons”, creative directed by Silvia Venturini Fendi.
This is not the only project that the creative director recently worked on; at the end of March came out the first “ready-to-wear” collection of the designer, Solar Dream: warm tones inspired by the colours of summer, metelassé and gingham are mixes together with floral patterns. The Baguette and the Peekaboo are featured in the collection, designed like small and fun bonbons.
About the project, #BaguetteFriendsForever, we already anticipated some details in March. Three short-films were realized for the campaign, in which the iconic bag was celebrated throughout the words of celebrities and influencers that shared their love for the bag. In our article, we talked about the one that featured the Canadian model Winnie Harlow and her best-friend Shannon Hamilton. The three short-films had as their soundtrack the song by the duo Groove Armada, My Friend.
