CRAZY SPORT: THE BEST WAY TO HAVE FUN IS LIVING HEALTHY

It’s September by now, summer is over and, whether we want it or not, it’s time to get back to our routine. Some of us will restart working, whereas some others will restart studying, but for sure we will all be going through a “kill me now, please!” phase. That’s all perfectly normal, but this year I decided to stay one step ahead and avoid ending up on my couch overwhelmed by stress. Therefore, it’s necessary to use some time to take care of our body. I can already imagine that most lazy people will find this post uninteresting, but you must believe me when I say that sports can totally benefit your mental health too!

All you have to do is replace your usual jogging or gym session with a “crazy sport”! Therefore, I’m going to list three extremely funny sports that will both release your stress and help you lose toxins and calories!Let me begin with Bikram Yoga, the hottest yoga discipline ever! This is a training session based on 26 different positions you are supposed to assume in a heated location (40°C/104°F). During those 90 minutes, your mind will feel free and empty and your body will exercise itself, whilst losing 716 calories and getting at the same time an energy boost! On the other hand if you can’t bear hot temperatures and love to feel free, I would suggest you try Surfset, an American and trendy sport that can help you improve your balance, burn calories (up to 900), tone up your muscles and will make you feel, at least for the time of a lesson, as if you’re at the beach! And, finally, my favourite one: Areal Yoga. During the lesson you’ll be suspended in air, defying gravity, and you’ll be having fun doing exercises that can benefit your spinal column, which is extremely elastic while you’re upside down. What do you need? A lot of tenacity and the will to experiment new things and new circus tools such as the low trapeze or rings. This sport is great both for your body and your mind and will let you lose about 390 calories per lesson! After reading this post, you have no excuses, so get up from your couch, call a friend, choose the course you most like and then… go have shopping!
