The new iPhone 12 is finally ready to be revealed. Later than usual, due to the Covid-19, Apple will reveal the latest addition to their smartphone line, today, October 13th (link below) during the event “Hi, speed”, because the new iPhone will be compatible with the 5G speed.
And it’s not the only news. Starting from the fact that 4 different versions will be released, with a new design, similar to the old iPhone 4 and 5, and it will have a more powerful chip and camera. Differently from the last three years, the iPhone 12 will come in 4 different versions instead of 3, each one of them will have a different dimension and characteristics but with the same chip: the A14 Bionic already featured on the latest iPad Air, that will support AR technology. The iPhone 12 will be released in 4 different colours, gold, silver, blue and graphite, and will have a storage capacity of 128, 256 and 512 GB, with 6GB of Ram.
The new smartphone will be even bigger: the iPhone 12 Max will have a 6,7 inches display, against the 6,5 inches of the iPhone 11. It will also feature a triple outside camera, with a 5X optical zoom and a 30X digital zoom, plus a Lidar sensor. Both will feature an Oled display, called “Super Retina XDR”, and they will support the magnetic wireless charger.
The latest model that will be presented is the iPhone 12 mini, featuring two cameras on the back and a smaller display of 5,4 inches, more than the iPhone SE that has a display of 4,7 inches. For both Apple will release five different colourations (black, white, red, green and blue), a 4GB Ram and three different storage options (64, 128 and 256 GB). The rumours also revealed the prices, starting from $699 for the iPhone 12 Mini (available for preorders from the 6th or the 7th of November, and released on the 13th or 14th of November); $799 for the iPhone 12 (available for preorders from the 16th or 17th of October, and released on the 23rd or 24th of October); $999 for the iPhone 12 Pro (available for preorders from the 16th or 17th of October, and released on the 23rd or 24th of October); and $1.099 for the iPhone 12 Pro Max (available for preorders from the 6th or the 7th of November, and released on the 13th or 14th of November).
