Puff sleeves are coming back this summer: from dresses to tops, the bigger the better. We first saw this trend during the 80s, when it was a must-have, and now are re-interpreted in the Spring/Summer 2020 collections.
The puff sleeves become true sculptures on the floral mini dresses by Richard Quinn, while they give a princess-like effect to the pale pink dresses by Simone Rocha or on the 70s inspired long dresses by Marc Jacobs and Carolina Herrera accentuate the fairytale mood with flowers embroideries. Chanel plays around with some bows and Alexander McQueen with ruffles. Prabal Gurung interpreted the trend in a contemporary way with a series of tight and draped dresses open on the front.
