Gucci and Superplastic, as we have announced, have given way to an excellent collaboration. And today, more details have finally been revealed.
Entitled “SUPERGUCCI”, the collaboration will be divided into three parts. The partnership kicks off with ten exclusive NFT pieces, each accompanied by a ceramic sculpture. The artworks take inspiration from Gucci’s distinctive design motifs that are reinterpreted by Superplastic virtual influencers Guggimon and Janky. The release also involves Gucci Vault, the luxury brand’s experimental online store, which will join the metaverse with a special sale.
In addition to dropping the metaverse, Vault launches vintage pieces from the Gucci archive that are restored and released to the market on February 1 on Gucci Vault and Superplastic sites.
