A little less conversation. A little more Converse.
Stüssy has officially announced the release of the new Converse in collaboration with Our Legacy.
The news wasn’t entirely surprising given the deep affinity that the streetwear brand has developed for the Converse Chuck 70, offering different interpretations almost every season. The last ones were just a variant with the pearly “SS” logos, released last spring.
Equally usual are the partnership initiatives of the Californian brand with Our legacy. In fact, the two brands have worked together several times in the past and are among the most active in the last period when it comes to release drop and capsule collections.
But let’s take a closer look at the result of this collaboration.

Drawing on Stüssy’s long-standing partnership with Converse, Our Legacy Workshop brand took part in this summer project focused on the Chuck 70 model, known for its easy-to-wear silhouette that has been a great success thanks to its simplicity and a extremely wide selection of colorways and collaborations. Our Legacy Workshop and Stüssy have in fact chosen to maintain the integrity of the sneaker in its classic form, letting only the palette do the talking. Inspired by the fresh and pastel shades of the season, the sneakers are available in 3 colours: “Pool Blue”, the undisputed protagonist of this collection, “Lizard Green” and “Pigeon Grey”. The real peculiarity of these Converse lies in the dyeing process, for which the shoes are shipped to Portugal and dyed using ecological and bio-compatible pigments in a closed and circular water cycle. This overdye treatment gives each pair a unique finish that helps give them a vintage look.

The 3 colors cover the canvas upper, laces and tongues of the sneakers which feature Converse All-Star branded lining and completed with Our Legacy’s Workshop’s signature yin and yang symbol applied as a patch on the sidewalls.
The rubber toe cap and midsole both feature an off-white piping and black trim. The Stüssy label woven on the tongues and the black and white laces cannot miss to embellish the whole.
The good news is that the entire Stüssy x Our Legacy Converse Chuck 70 Hi collection will be available from June 30 on the Stüssy website and in the physical stores of the respective brands. Just in time to be flaunted with our best summer outfits.
