The aim for this show was to turn the models into paper-made figures, half Barbie and half Linda Evangelista in the 90’s. These women had even more comic-like features thanks to the hairstyles that were firstly created on the wigs and then worn by models. Make-up was just as amazing and seducing, thanks to maxi eyebrows, cat-liner, fake lashes and mat lips. The absolute queen of the night was the Russian top model Irina Shayk.
The catwalk’s entry looked really similar to a circus’ entry and therefore would make you have great expectations about being on the verge of entering a world made of magic and fun. Nothing was unplanned, not even the extremely original invitations.
They weren’t simple pieces of paper, but fake medical capsules packages…with a surprising effect for sure!
This collection completely reflected Jeremy Scott’s playfulness! After the show, I even had the chance to meet himin the backstage and, I have to admit, he was so cool he made me feel like I was playing Super Mario!
