MILAN FASHION WEEK GOES DIGITAL

In April we’ve already told you that the British Fashion Council announced that the Men London Fashion Week switched to digital, with content available at londonfashionweek.co.ukNow, the Camera Nazionale della Moda just announced that the Milan Fashion Week will move the event, that was supposed to take place from the 14th to the 17th of July, online. The designers and creatives will show their Menswear and Womenswear Spring/Summer 2012 collections and Menswear Spring/Summer 2021 Pre-Collection with a series of presentations available on a digital platform, as well as photo and videos, interviews, talk and backstage. Also on the program, there will be webinars and panels in live streaming with some of the biggest names in the fashion system. Like for the LFW, there will be a second digital platform that will help the brands connect with the buyers.

 

It will be for sure less exciting for the people of the fashion industry not be able to experience the collections in real life or look from a close distance the catwalk of some of the most famous super-models. But this new approach will allow the fashion industry to re-start and reach simultaneously buyer and fashion experts all over the world. This new challenge could be interesting…
