For the presentation of Cruise 2025, Maria Grazia Chiuri brings Dior back to one of its places of the past, Scotland.
The brand presented the fashion show in the park of Drummond Castle, complete with bagpipes in the background. The collection itself is a tribute not only to Scotland’s artistic heritage but also to the historic charity fashion show organized by Christian Dior in 1955 inside the ballroom of the Gleneagles Hotel, in Perthshire
The protagonists of the Dior Cruise 2025 catwalk are modern Amazons, expertly created by Maria Grazia Chiuri with strokes of tartan fabric, metal mesh, leather armor and biker boots.

Even the guests and celebrities involved in the event were no less worthy of attention.
A line up of female stars, from Rosemund Pike to Maisie Williams, in fabulous Dior looks attended the show: Jennifer Lawrence in a bold and irreverent animalier duster coat, Anya Taylor-Joy, who under a dark gray blazer shows off a turtleneck bodysuit, micro shorts, hold-ups and high ankle boots in black patent leather.
The collection shown on the catwalk is a mix of different styles, refined details, fine fabrics and embroidery.

Between long lace and velvet dresses and modern armor embellished with crystals, the collection shows a mix of punk and bondage influences with a note of romance and a strong feminist spirit, now a key element of Dior fashion shows.
As usual, the work of the Italian designer is to all intents and purposes an anthropological study combined with research into craftsmanship of the highest level.
«For the Dior Cruise 2025 fashion show, we involved several companies, such as The Kilt, by the young British designer Samantha McCoach», the creative director of Dior tells us. «For us it was really interesting to see how each of these companies, specialized in blankets, fabrics or knitwear, included the entire supply chain within it. We have created a real map to identify all the specializations of the active realities linked to the territory.”

So the excellence of the Scottish workforce met the creative mind of Maria Grazia Chiuri who for this Cruise has concentrated on reinventing the iconic traditional garments, interpreting them in a contemporary key, so as to celebrate the sartorial tradition of these enchanted places full of history , giving new meanings and breathtaking looks.
