After the big fashion brands and not only (think of McDonald’s), even celebrities are ready to invest in the metaverse.

Snoopverse, created by the Californian rapper, actor, and producer Snoop Dogg. In his world in the metaverse, there will be virtual concerts, art exhibitions, car fairs, pool parties, lots of shopping, and a digital replica of the rapper’s imposing villa located in California. To enter the metaverse of Snoop Dogg, you will need to have one of the passes available on The Sandbox, at figures certainly not cheap: $ 2,000 for one of the 5,000 tickets. Still, there are also 1,000 exclusive private passes at about $ 5,700 each to “get into the lifestyle of Snoop Dogg” and access a whole series of exclusive benefits, such as access to a private virtual party organized by the rapper and the opportunity to have Snoop Dogg perform on their virtual plot.

Among the celebrities who entered the virtual world is Paris Hilton, whose virtual island dubbed Paris World was built inside Roblox and will allow fans to visit digital replicas of her Beverly Hills property and board luxury cars or yachts. Paris wanted to spend last New Year’s Eve on her virtual island, holding a mega party.

Among the other well-known faces who entered the metaverse, Portuguese model Sara Sampaio, the former face of Victoria’s Secret, who paid 25 Ethereum for a virtual private island on The Sandbox platform, while Paris Saint Germain midfielder Marco Verratti was the first footballer in the world to invest in the real digital estate sector, buying one of the 25 luxury islands put up for sale on The Sandbox by Exclusible.
