Burberry will present its Spring/Summer 2021 collection in an open space outside of London on the 17th of September. Everything will be shared online for the people that will not be able to attend the show. The event is not part of the official London Fashion Week calendar.
The relationship between fashion and nature began with the founder of the brand, Thomas Burberry, and will be once again the inspiration behind this collection. “As humans, we have always had a deep affinity to nature. We have had to respect and rely upon its power for our very existence, whilst marvelling and revelling in its extraordinary beauty,” Tisci said in a statement. “Especially recently, we have all yearned to reconnect again and for this show, I wanted to celebrate these feelings by bringing our community together in a creative experience that takes place within the beautiful, natural landscape of Britain.”
The ReBurberry, Burberry’s green line and certified Carbon Neutral, aligns with this message. For the fashion show, the brand will, of course, make sure to respect all the measures to keep the environmental impact at the minimum and any emissions will be compensated with the Burberry’s Regeneration Fund.
