Continues the collaboration between Birkenstock and Valentino with three new colourations of the Arizona sandals coming in September 2020. The Italian brand under the creative direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli reinterpreted the most famous pairs of Birkenstock, after the success of their first collaboration revealed in Paris during the Menswear Valentino AW 19/20 Fashion Show.
The VLTN logo is printed on the side of the leather Arizona sandals, that for the Birkenstock x Valentino 2020 collab is transformed with a new camouflage motif in three original colourways. The first one is the classic green camouflage, then another variant in lime yellow and another one in light grey. The VLTN logo is printed in white while the Birkenstock logo is engraved on the metal black buckles. The two logos are also printed on the sole that for the occasion is made in black leather.
The collection will be available as a limited edition online on the web stores 1774.com, Valentino.com and in the Valentino boutique starting from September 3rd 2020. In the last year, Birkenstock collaborated with Proenza Shouler and with the students of the Central Saint Martins (London) for a special project. While recently Valentino is fighting a legal battle to register the iconic Rockstud sandals.
